The Europa Rosarium Sangerhausen

The Europa-Rosarium Sangerhausen is home to more than 8700 different varieties and rose species on an area of more than 13 hectares. For this reason, it is considered the most extensive and important collection of roses in the world. The cultural-historical significance of the Rosarium in Sangerhausen also lies in preserving the diversity of roses for posterity. So it is a living museum and a rose gene bank of inestimable value, especially because the Queen of Flowers has captivated people for its incomparable beauty since the beginning of time.
In order to support the work of the Sangerhausen gardeners and to make a contribution to the care and improvement of our rose garden, rose lovers and rose experts from Home and abroad have organized themselves in the Förderverein Freunde des Rosariums Sangerhausen e.V. in Sangerhausen.'On our website you will find information about the Rosarium as well as about the association and its work.
